BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Chris Brown
Chris joined the Progress Authority in August of 2014 as the Economic Development Specialist for Bradford and Susquehanna Counties. Prior to joining the staff, he served on the Authority’s board of directors for a number of years and held the treasurer position for 3 years. Mr. Brown’s background was in commercial lending and business development for local and regional banks. He holds a BA in Accounting from Lycoming College and several other education certificates within the banking industry. He resides in Laceyville with his wife and four daughters.

Kelly Luvison
Kelly Luvison is President and Publisher of Bradford County’s two daily newspapers, The Morning Times based in Sayre and The Daily Review based in Towanda. With 35 years of experience as a newspaper editor, publisher and commercial printing executive, he also oversees newspaper operations in central Pennsylvania, New York, Maine and New Hampshire. Prior to making Bradford County home in 2008, he was an executive vice president with Gatehouse Media, Inc.
Luvison has been a member of The Enterprise Center board of directors since 2009. He is also an active member of the Guthrie Health System’s board of trustees, the Pennsylvania Media Association and Trout Unlimited. He is a graduate of the School of Journalism at West Virginia University in Morgantown.
A lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, Luvison grew up in Warren County. He and his wife, Karen, now reside in Litchfield Township. They have two grown children.

Cathy Pientka
Cathy Pientka, AVP and Bradford County Mortgage Manager for First Citizens Community Bank, has 25 years of banking, lending and management experience.
Cathy joined First Citizens National Bank as part of the acquisition of the Bradford County Sovereign Bank offices in 2000. She was with Sovereign Bank for close to 3 years as Community Office Manager and Regional Mortgage Manager. Prior to joining Sovereign, Cathy held the position of Community Office Manager with First Union, CoreStates, Meridian and Commonwealth Bank.
Cathy is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Central Atlantic School of Banking. She is a native of Sayre and is very active in the Sayre community holding Board, Council and Committee positions in various organizations. She is involved in the Sayre Enterprise Center, Guthrie Hospice Golf Tournament Committee, Valley Economic Development Association, Sayre UDAG Loan Committee, and other community charity events. She currently resides in Athens Township with her husband Lenny.

Jim Daly
Jim Daly is a a life-long resident of the Borough of Sayre where he is also a member of the Sayre Borough Council. Jim is a retired USAF Senior Master Sergeant (1969-1992). He is a founding member of Carantouan Greenway and continues to serve on their Board of Directors. He joined the TEC Board in May 2001 and is currently chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee.

Steve Novak
Steve Novak is licensed real estate broker, and certified appraiser in Pennsylvania and New York.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with high distinction from the Pennsylvania State University in 1977. Steve has been a licensed broker since 1983 and founded Novak & Associates Real Estate in 1996. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, Bradford/Sullivan Association of Realtors, Past President.
Steve is a Sayre native, and is very active in the Sayre Community, serving on the Board of First Citizens
Community Bank, Past President and member of the Valley Kiwanis, served on Sayre Borough Council
and Planning Commission. He is also a member of the board of Penn York Opportunities.

Damian Rossettie
Damian Rossettie is an attorney with the firm of Landy & Rossettie, PLLC, located in Sayre,
Pennsylvania. Mr. Rossettie has practiced law since 2010 principally in the areas of real estate,
civil litigation, estates administration and litigation, and small business matters. He is licensed to
practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, and the United States District (and Bankruptcy) Courts
for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Northern District of New York.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Rossettie dedicates time to community development matters,
and is on the boards of directors for local non-profit organizations such as Futurescapes and
Friends of Valley Playland in Athens, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Rossettie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and a
Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School in 2010. He grew up in
Corning, New York, and resides in Athens, Pennsylvania, with his wife and four children.

Christopher L. Wood
Mr. Wood is a Project Manager at HUNT Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architect, DPC, and brings a wide range of practical experience in the various aspects of Civil Engineering for the public and private sectors. With experience in both environmental, municipal and site development engineering. Chris also, is a South Waverly Borough Councilmen and service as the Engineer of Record / Review Engineering for Multiple Municipalities and Bradford County.

Gretchen Kukuchka
As a seasoned Business Consultant with The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center, Gretchen assists entrepreneurs and businesses in the Northern Tier region. Gretchen enjoys helping businesses define growth directions and the plan to get there, troubleshoot challenges, and attain their version of success. She also dedicates her consulting to helping entrepreneurs look at feasibility and sustainability of their business idea. Gretchen provides coordination for the Small Business Internship Initiative, linking northeastern Pennsylvania smallbusinesses with students of '11 localcolleges. A graduate of Virginia Tech and The University of Scranton, Gretchen has a Master's in Human Resource Administration with a focus on organizational leadership and research in family-run business succession planning. She received a Frank O'Hara Award foi Graduate Excellence and was voted Best & Brightest Professionals "Top 20 Under 40". Gretchen serves as a Board member of MetroAction, Inc. and is a Leadership Lackawanna alumna. Gretchen was raised in a family business and began her career in the economic development field in Bradford county. Today, she also assists her spouse in running a business and raises a busy family.

Frederick W. Kluck
Advisor from Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
Fred is an enterprise/portfolio developer and regional manager for Ben Franklin Technology Partners Northeastern Pennsylvania. He presently lives in Bloomsburg with his wife Cathryn and son Jeffrey. From his office at the Bloomsburg Regional Technology Center/Business Incubator Kluck identifies and supports the development of start-up and early-stage technology based firms and established manufacturers.
Before coming to Ben Franklin, Kluck was a loan and business development officer for Fulton Mortgage Company. Before that, he worked for Geisinger Health System as a Sales Executive/Business Developer. He helped launch The Yodock Wall Company, a start-up traffic control firm, as National Sales/Marketing Manager. Prior to that, he served in management, quality, and marketing positions with Oldcastle Materials, Inc.
Kluck holds an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Wilkes University and a BA from Bloomsburg University. He is a Leadership Hazleton graduate and has earned multiple salesmanship, marketing and mentor awards. Fred is also active with the Boy Scouts of America and is a local Little League Baseball board member.
Timothy M. Hickey
Tim is VP of Lending for Guthrie Federal Credit Union, in Sayre; where he has been
since 2016.
Prior to that he worked for First Citizens Community Bank on Elmira St., in Sayre,
from 2001 -2016, where he started out as a Branch Manager until 2011 when he
moved into a Commercial Lender Position.
Previously he was Marketing & Credit and Collections Manager for Valley Cities
Gas Co., from 1990-2001.
Tim has been active in the Community, Serving as Mayor of S. Waverly, PA. As
well as a Volunteer Golf Coach for Sayre HS; Board Member and VP of Greater
Valley Chamber of Commerce; Board Member and Pres. of VEDA; on the Audit
Committee of CFTT; Public announcer for Sayre High home football games; and
S. Waverly Zoning & Planning Commission, Chairman of the S. Waverly Fire Board.
